Master Kush is a popular Indica-dominant hybrid that crosses two landrace strains originating from different Hindu Kush regions. Originally called High Rise, this strain The plant delivers a gentle earthy smell accented by citrus and light herbal fragrances. Master Kush buds are light green and full of sticky trichomes surrounded by a fair amount of orange pistils. The terpene profile of Master Kush is dominated by a heavy presence of caryophyllene, which gives way to a signature peppery profile. Limonene, which gives the flower its citrus aroma, is also present in large amounts. Myrcene is also present in this relaxing strain and offers a slight herbal fragrance to the profile. This Indica is known for its relaxing, yet mild head high and is used medicinally for stress, anxiety, depression, pain, and insomnia relief.

Using organic king size rolling papers, we rolled up some Master Kush from The Cannabist and certainly happy about the choice we made. The buds are nicely manicured and have an aromatic citrus smell accented with a hint of diesel. Colorful orange pistils and sticky trichomes are visibly plentiful. This strain packs a punch. Coming in at a higher than average THC percent, this Indica dominant strain brings you a generous, but mellow, euphoric feeling that may be best used more toward the end a stressful day or just before bed if Indicas have a sleepy effect on you. The flavor you get when inhaling is smooth at first but immediately followed by the slightly bitter peppery tasting caryophyllene turpines.
Overall, Master Kush has become a favorite evening strain to wind down after a hard day of stress. Some side effects we noticed were increased hunger and a sense of chill that melted away the day's problems.

We wasted no time initiating our first encounter with Lemon Do-Si-Dos from The Cannabist. Breaking it up in the grinder was a bit sticky, and good reason why. The flower was very dense, slightly sticky, and not too over-manicured or dried out. The aromas released from the ground nug pieces in the grinder is refreshing. The limonene terpene profile really stands out in this Indica dominant strain. There is a slight undertone of earthy scents, but the citrus smell from the limonene is what really dominates the senses touched by this fragrant strain.
Using organic king size rolling papers for the best flavor results, surprisingly, this flower strain has a nice smooth draw that leaves a slight after taste of pepper with no harsh flavors that are usually present with other lemon flavor strains. The effects are best described as a heavy, but nice relaxing head-to-toe euphoric high. Intensity was perfect in our case and seemed to become more of an in-the-zone feeling than an intense buzz feeling. If you have a much higher THC tolerance, this Indica strain would provide the much needed effects while still maintaining the focus you need. Lower tolerances may want to take it easy at first. Heavy Indica strains can produce anxious side effects for some people who have lower tolerances. This can make you feel a bit uneasy at first until the initial effects start to level out. Fortunately, as with most Indica dominant strains, relaxation, sleepiness, and hunger are the most noticeable side effects that seem to be more positive than negative.
Overall, we give this Indica-dominant hybrid strain from The Cannabist a job well done in producing a balanced Indica that provides a heavy.

White Buffalo Truflower from Trulieve is a Sativa-dominant hybrid that crosses with the Indica hybrid Romulan with the Indica hybrid Blackberry Kush and the strong Sativa strain Bay 11. White Buffalo definitely catches your attention at first glance. The obvious white clusters of trichomes give this strain a definitive characteristic and an appealing visual effect. Bud color is on the darker side of green with hints of purple and with orange pistils scattered throughout. The aroma of White Buffalo is a cross between a peppery, gassy smell with a touch of citrus accents that are very evident after going through your grinder.
When burned with organic pre-rolled cones, each inhale presents a nice smooth but heavy sour note that coats the back of your throat. Upon exhale, there are some slight bitterness that leaves a tasty treat on the tip of your tongue.
The effects are best described as fluid energy. This is the kind of strain that helps you go with the flow and stress seems to melt away for the moment while you tackle some tough choices in life. A nice euphoric feeling that is certain to pick you up a bit but bring you pleasant feelings that relax the mind so you can stay focused. The effects are intense at first but begin to taper off and plateau to a nice continuous head high that eventually signals the stomach for the munchies. Negative effects were absent in our case and experienced no substantial side effects or negative feelings you get from some Sativa dominant strains.
Overall, we are not looking forward to the bottom of this jar and can't wait to get another one just to keep some around. White Buffalo is definitely a strain to savor and enjoy while you have it. If you haven't tried White Buffalo Truflower from Trulieve, you're missing out.
